Vislify LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates Vislify and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Vislify platform at vislify.com (the "Service").
Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not access or use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. We never store your plaintext password.
Documents and evidence: You may upload PDFs, images, letters, resumes, publications, awards, immigration records, identity documents, financial records, professional records, and other materials related to building a visa petition. These materials may contain sensitive personal information. We use them to provide the Service, including organizing your evidence, drafting petition text, generating summaries, linking evidence to petition sections, and indexing files for AI-assisted retrieval.
Connected services: If you connect Google Drive or another third-party storage provider, we collect the account connection data and file metadata needed to import only the files or folders you select. We do not use broad Google Drive access to search files you did not choose.
Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, interactions, device and browser information, referral information, and session information. We use PostHog and Umami to help us understand and improve the Service. Vislify disables PostHog session replay and masks autocaptured text, element attributes, and personal data in URLs.
Payment information: Billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. We receive a customer ID and payment and access status from Stripe.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- To process your visa petition drafts using AI (OpenAI Responses API + Vector Stores)
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- To process payments and manage your Access Pass
- To improve our Service and develop new features
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information to file petitions or applications with USCIS or any government agency on your behalf. If the Service helps you prepare materials, you remain responsible for deciding whether and how to submit them.
4. AI Processing
Documents you upload may be sent to OpenAI for indexing in a private vector store and for use by our AI drafting system to draft, summarize, classify, and retrieve petition-related text. Your documents are processed to provide the Service to you and are not used by us to train AI models. We configure AI processing with the intent that your content is not used to train OpenAI's general models, subject to OpenAI's applicable terms and policies. 5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage
- OpenAI for AI processing of your documents and petition drafts
- Stripe for payment processing
- Resend and Loops for transactional and lifecycle email
- Google, if you connect Google Drive, for authentication and file selection through the limited scopes authorized by you
- Vercel for application hosting and infrastructure
- PostHog and Umami for privacy-limited product and website analytics
- Service providers as required to operate, secure, debug, and improve the platform
- Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or government authorities when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Uploaded documents are removed from our storage and from OpenAI's vector stores upon account deletion.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service.
